Dust-worn travelers and party-ravaged playa residents have
long found The Inn at Lake Lahontan to offer
soothing respite from the sometimes unmerciful conditions of the playa. In
fact, the Inn was founded one moonless night after a particularly fierce blow.
So strong was the demand for bloody marys, massages, and personal services
of all kinds, that the creation of The Inn and the coming-together of its
staff was an inevitable act of karmic need fulfillment.
Room service at The Inn is
world-renowned. Guests may order elegant meals, fine wines, and a full range
of services to stimulate the body, liberate the mind, and enlighten the spirit.
Be forewarned that what is actually delivered may bear no resemblance to what
was ordered, as such is determined solely by the whims, (in)discretion and
sobriety of The Inn staff. It has been seen,
however, that guests appreciate this unpredictability, connecting them as
it does to the randomly enlightening nature of the universe.
